TateShots: British Folk Art by Tate

TateShots: British Folk Art

From chickens sculpted out of animal bones, to gargantuan ship's figureheads, welcome to the world of British Folk Art. Curator Martin Myrone introduces the British Folk Art exhibition at Tate Britain. Steeped in tradition and generally created by self-taught artists and artisans, the often humble but always remarkable objects on display include everything from quirky shop signs and Toby jugs, to elaborately crafted quilts.
